Dulnain Bridge

On Monday (2nd October) we crossed Scotland west to east: Tayvallich - Oban - Fort William and then across the Cairngorms National Park to Dulnain Bridge. We spent two wonderful days catching up with old friends Ann and Geordie Rae in their beautiful house with stunning views across the Spey valley to the Cairngorm hills.

We headed past Aviemore for a six hour stroll that Ann promoted as a "flat walk"(!), reaching Jess's first Munro Bynack Mor (1,090m). We celebrated with Geordie's hip flask of port and the return leg with a bonus rainbow. All finished off with pie & chips at Craig's Bar in Grantown on Spey. A totally perfect day.
